We are taking off at SDL from Marion County Park Saturday. There is a forecast of possible storms. Fishing in the rain would be a nice change. Hope there's a big turnout. Remember we HAVE TO decide what we're doing about the district championship.
Trevor Prince won the adult side with 12.07, Brent Sain was second with 11.82 and both had a 5 fish limit. Casey Hitchcock took the big fish with a 4.03 largemouth.
Hunter Ferguson was first on the junior side with 4 fish for 10.17. He had the big fish with a 3.19. My boy Hank was second with 1 fish for 2.60 that was caught about 15 minutes before weigh in right after I boated an almost 12 pound drum. (I set such a good example for the kid.)
Gene Cantrell is now in the points lead for the season on the adult side. Hunter and Dakota Cantrell are tied for first on the junior side. Hank is a close second.
